I was initiated into Englsih Freemasonry in 1991. During that time I served my Lodge in in all the officerships (exxcept for Inner Guard and Junior Warden because I was promoted ahead of sequential post). Unusually, I also served as Woshipful Master of the lodge for two separate terms (1999-2000) and 2004-2005), and in between those two rulings Immediate Past Master and then Assistant Director of Ceremonies for two years

Since leaving my mother lodge in 2005 for financial reasons only, I have continued my private studies in Freemasonry. Each day I make some study of the Emulation Ritul of Craft Masonry.

Masonic Library
I have also built up a Masonic section in my huge library (comprising several thousand books).  So far my Masonic collection consists of approximately 300 books and manuscripts.
I  continue to add to this.

Lectures:
I also engage in research to write what may one day become new lectures or books. However, the lectures which I have written so far include:
1. The Solar Passage in the Lodge.
2. The Mason's Apron
3. Salutes and Levels.
4. Elias Ashmole.
5. The North-East Corner.

New Items:
6. a new lecture: Squares. Levels and Perpendiculars was recently completed and was given its first delivered in July.
7. I am presently  writing the next new lectures entitled:  The Rough and Smooth Ashlar.

I also composed an extensive Obituary on the life of one of the founders of my Lodge, which I delivered at his funeral.

Favourite Deliveries in Lodge
Whilst there are so many parts of the Emulation Ritual which offer immense insight into the human condition and guidance on how we all might improve our way of living (and ethics, morals and spirituality) and those of society and our fellow creatures, there are obviously those which strike a particular chord from time to time. Amongst the foremost of these at present my favourite pieces from the Emulatioin Ritual which I have delivered whilst an officer in open Lodge are:
1. The long version of the 2nd. Degree Working Tools.
2. The Charge to the candidate after Initiation.
3. The full versions of all addresses to the officers on my Invesititure for the 2nd. time into the Chair of King Solomon.

I continue to remain in regular contact with my Mother Lodge, and its Secretary and to receive all  its news and word on its development, events, classes of instruction and meetings.
